Our great great grandparents were John Brown and Martha Eaves. John was born on May 2, 1808 in Elbert County and Died on September 7, 1886 in Elbert County. Martha Eaves was born in 1808 in Georgia and died on December 20, 1874. John and Martha were married on April 1, 1830 in Elbert County.
John and Marth had the following children:
James Franklin Brown 1831-September 26, 1862; Civil War, West Virginia
James married Sara E. Seymour on July 5, 1855.
James died in the Civil War.
In October 21, 1863 Sarah E. Brown filed for a Military Pension
